CoolScan Pairs

The scanning hardware and software I use for archiving my father's huge collection of slides is the Nikon CoolPixIV bundle.  Some of its power is demonstrated in this quintet of half-century-old images.  The thumbnails on this page are "straight" scans, without restoration.  To see how the CoolPix process restores them, click on any of the thumbnails, or click on the first one and follow the arrows for a slideshow.
